About

Randy Smith – President

Randy SmithBorn on February 5th, 1970 to Willie and Ona Smith of Pike County Kentucky, I loved attending church, especially Sunday School. I remember as a young child coming home from church, I would use my father’s hand saw to cut into the ground thinking I was harming Satan. I remember loving God at a very young age. However, it wasn’t until I turned seventeen that I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior. My folks moved us North to Bath County, Kentucky. While attending Salt Lick Free Will Baptist church one Sunday morning, I felt God’s conviction heavy on me that morning. I had “made a deal with God”, if he would give me a girlfriend, I would start going to church. He one upped me, the girlfriend he gave me would become my wife of what is now going on twenty eight years at the time of this writing. I had witnessed a change in my father shortly before my conversion, as he gave his life to the Lord also. My mother, as I remember was already born again when we made the move to the area.

I had felt God calling me into the ministry at an early age, although at the time I didn’t understand it. On June 4th, 1993 I surrendered my life to preaching his word. I have been involved in many aspects of ministry since that time, from pastoring to prison ministry, a mission trip to Haiti, standing in front of the White House with a multitude of men praying for our nation, leading multitude of souls to Christ. In the summer of 2015, I had the distinct honor to stand for the Lord against a host of opposition during the famed “Kim Davis” religious liberty violation. The Lord used me as the point man to rally God’s people to stand against the oppression of judges, and politicians including the Governor of Kentucky during that time. I was honored and blessed to lead a group of church leaders to see the governor in an attempt to resolve the matter peacefully. I went on to run for State Representative in the 99th District in 2016. I lost in the primary by a mere 176 votes. I can honestly say I was pleased with my showing for my first time ever running for public office, and having spent less than a thousand dollars on the election.

I now feel God has moved me to a point in time to rally the Christians in Kentucky to continue to stand, and be ready to stand when the time comes to fight against the ungodliness of overreaching activist judges and politicians. That’s why I am honored to be the President and CEO of the newly formed Kentucky Pastor’s Network. I look forward to reaching out to pastors and Christians all across the state, of all denominations to join myself, Pastor Steve Hickerson and Pastor Tom Redman as we lead Kentucky to Stand in the Gap for Truth, will you join us? Please feel free to contact us, we would love to hear from you.

In Christ, Rev. Randy K Smith
